| Bridge Of Trust Across Organizations Symlabs Federation Gateway is a versatile and flexible solution to rapidly enable federation between multiple sites and domains. It supports every federation standard, as well as many proprietary protocols, to easily build bridges between multiple organizations, policy domains and departments. By brokering trust between multiple policy domains, Symlabs Federation Gateway effectively extends accounts and identities between multiple federation partners. Symlabs Federation Gateway has the most complete protocol and standards support of any federation product on the market. It supports popular open standards such as Microsoft WS-Federation passive Requester Profile, SAML 1.1 and 2.0, Liberty Alliance’s ID-FF 1.2, plus it includes native support for CA’s SiteMinder. All of these protocols can be used simultaneously and the bridging can cross protocol boundaries. Other proprietary Single Sign-On (SSO) systems can be integrated using APIs. This makes it the perfect solution to build bridges between single sign-on environments that would otherwise be isolated. Advanced Features, High Performance, Small Footprint Real-life deployment scenarios require capabilities that go beyond the usual out-of-the-box features that other federation products offer. Symlabs Federation Gateway is the only federation product on the market that offers completely flexible user mapping between different domains. Multiple mapping rules can easily be configured and applied, and privacy can be preserved by abstracting identity information while optionally preserving role information. Symlabs products are unbeatable when it comes to delivering performance without wasting space due to their highly efficient code design. The standard memory footprint in most implementations is well under 64 MB. And, the specially handcrafted XML engine can process security assertions and tokens in a fraction of the time of any competing product.
